kissmet churro chai
Ingredients
- 3 sachets or 3 tsp loose Kissmet
- 5/8 oz cherry syrup*
- Steamed milk
- Churro dust garnish**
directions
- For best flavor, bring 150ml spring or freshly drawn filtered water to a boil and steep 3 sachets or 3 teaspoons of loose leaf Kissmet for 5 minutes.
- Remove and discard sachets or loose tea and add brewed tea to warmed mug.
- Add cherry syrup.
- Top with steamed or warmed milk of choice.
*Cherry Syrup
Ingredients
- 80 g muscovado sugar
- 20 g Fabbri Amarena cherries in their juice
- 50 g boiling water
directions
- Add all ingredients into vessel and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Blend.
- Strain, date and label syrup and store in refrigerator.
Shelf Life: 1 month
**Churro Dust
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp ground cardamom
- 2 tbsp white sugar
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
directions
- Combine ingredients in a small bowl.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
