Golden Hour
Ingredients
- 2 oz Marigold concentrate*
- 1 tbsp preserved lemon syrup**
- 4 oz sparkling water
- Lemon wedge
- Cara Cara orange slice (for garnish)
Directions
- Fill a collins glass with ice.
- Add sparkling water to glass, followed by Marigold concentrate and preserved lemon syrup.
- Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon and garnish with a Cara Cara orange slice.
- Enjoy.
*Marigold Concentrate
Directions
- Bring spring or freshly drawn filtered water to a boil.
- Steep 3 sachets (or 3 tsp of loose) Marigold in 6 oz of water just off the boil for 5 minutes.
- Discard sachets and set tea concentrate aside.
**Preserved Lemon Syrup
Ingredients
- 1/2 preserved lemon
- 1 cup sugar
Directions
- In a blender or food
processor combine preserved lemon and sugar. Pulse until thoroughly combined. - Add 1 cup of boiling water and stir until dissolved.
- Strain into an airtight jar. Date and refrigerate up to 2 weeks.
